Crosby, TX Crosby, TX Full-time Full-time From $54,000 a year From $54,000 a year Essential Duties and Responsibilities WEEKEND & NIGHT-SHIFT COVERAGE REQUIRED Lead a team of operators in the achievement of production targets Manage the performance of his/her team members and offer the necessary coaching and feedback to promote positive employee behavior and constructive development Develop and implement the necessary operational systems to support reliable, efficient and cost-effective operations.
Such systems include but not limited to:
Operator and Production Scheduling, Overtime Scheduling, Continuous Improvement projects, Production Reporting, Inventory Tracking & Control, 5S and Visual Factory activities, etc.
Support the development of a quality management systems and manage the quality of the products manufactured on his/her shift Facilitate the communication process on his/her shift including the establishment of beginning of shift team huddles Manage all shipping and inventory management activities on his/her shift in a timely and customer centric fashion Ensure provincial employment and HSE standards are followed as legislated Perform other duties as required Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities Requirements:

years production supervision experience Project management experience is an asset A successful track record in implementing and managing positive change Effective leadership and people skills Hands-on technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Superior communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Intermediate to advanced MS Applications skills especially in MS Excel Essential Capabilities:
A clear communicator with strong oral, written and presentation skills Ability to work well with individuals from different backgrounds and skills at various levels in the organization Effective time management, Job task planning and organizing Critical thinker and analytical decision maker Creative, solution-oriented individual who can think out of the box and thrives in an innovative environment Someone who exhibits strong initiative, needs little to no supervision and direction, highly organized and takes pride in his work.
