Assist campus registrar with maintaining student records at the campus level.
Process student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for the campus.
Assist public with documentation needs.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school or GED Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records Ability to use personal computer and software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills Basic math skills Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Three years clerical experience preferred.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records, Reports, and Correspondence Maintain physical and computerized records including student cumulative folders, progress and failure reports.
Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools, setting up cumulative folder, and entering student data into appropriate databases.
Process and transmit requests for student information, including student transcripts for colleges and universities.
Prepare and distribute University Scholastic League (UIL) eligibility lists.
Calculate grade point averages, class rank, and prepare honor rolls.
Process the enrollment, withdrawals, transfer and applicable records of students.
Assist campus administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information.
Other Process all verifications of education for current and former students.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
